Biography

 

Dr. V. Reddi Rani, currently serving as a Chemistry Lecturer at Government College for Women (A) Guntur, was recruited through direct recruitment by the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) in 2018. Reddi Rani is an adept academician with passion for teaching and learning. With a Masters Degree from Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati, she propelled her aspirations for research with a CSIR fellowship (CSIR- JRF) and pursued Doctoral Degree at CSIR- Indian Institute of Chemical Technology, Hyderabad.

In her initial appointment, she was posted at PRR&VS Government college, Vidavaluru, SPSR-Nellore district. She played an active role in the strengthening of the department and improving admissions in the B.Sc (BZC) program. In 2021, she was transferred to Visvodaya Government Degree college, Venkatagiri, Tirupati district. She initiated the introduction of B.Sc with Chemistry as the single major subject. Established academic linkages with the IIT-Tirupati and IISER-Tirupati along with industry linkages with Delta Bio Pharma Pvt. Ltd. and Malladi Drugs & Pharmaceuticals Ltd. 

Alongside the academics, she is interested in exploring the Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) with a special interest on Classical music and ancient Indian scriptures.
