Biography
Dr. Vyshnavi Yelchuri is a Chemistry Lecturer currently serving at Government College for Women (Autonomous), Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. She was recruited through direct recruitment conducted by the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC).
She holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Sciences from the Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research (AcSIR), India. Her doctoral research, carried out at the Centre for Lipid Research, CSIR–Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (CSIR-IICT), Hyderabad, focused on the “Synthesis of Specialty Oleochemicals via Olefin Metathesis.” Her research interests encompass organic chemistry, olefin metathesis, specialty oleochemicals, lipid chemistry, and sustainable chemical synthesis.
Dr. Vyshnavi Yelchuri began her academic career as a Degree Lecturer in Chemistry at P.V.K.N. Government Degree College, Chittoor, in 2018. She subsequently served at Government Degree College for Women, Srikalahasti, from October 2021 to March 2024. Following a mutual transfer, she joined S.K.B.R. Government Degree College, Macherla, in March 2024, where she continued her teaching and academic responsibilities until June 2026. She is currently serving at Government College for Women (Autonomous), Guntur.
Throughout her professional journey, Dr. Vyshnavi has been actively involved in teaching, research, academic administration, and quality assurance initiatives. Her responsibilities and areas of academic engagement include the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), National Service Scheme (NSS), NAAC-related documentation, and departmental academic records. She has also contributed to academic planning, institutional quality enhancement, student development activities, and various academic and administrative committees.
Beyond her professional commitments, Dr. Vyshnavi has a keen interest in chemistry education, research, and the development of innovative teaching and learning practices. She is passionate about guiding students, promoting scientific curiosity, and creating a research-oriented academic environment. Her interests also include exploring contemporary developments in chemistry, sustainable chemistry, environmental protection, and the application of scientific knowledge to address emerging societal and environmental challenges.
