Biography
Dr. Mandepudi Prabhavathi is a dedicated Lecturer in Commerce at the Government College for Women (A), Guntur. With over ten years of teaching experience, she has made notable contributions to the field of commerce through her teaching and research activities.
Born on March 10, 1978, Dr. Prabhavathi is 45 years old. She is the daughter of M. Christudas and has pursued a successful academic career in commerce. She holds a Master of Commerce (M.Com.) degree and earned her Ph.D. with a thesis on the “Evaluation of Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme with Reference to Guntur District, Andhra Pradesh,” which she completed in August 2019.
In her role as a Lecturer, Dr. Prabhavathi teaches various subjects including Fundamentals of Accounting, Financial Accounting, Corporate Accounting, Advanced Financial Accounting, Business Laws, Marketing, and Banking Theory & Practice. She is dedicated to providing a strong educational foundation for her students.
Dr. Prabhavathi has actively participated in the academic community through eight workshops, two international conferences, and fifteen national seminars, where she has both participated in and presented her research. She has published two research papers in Indian and international journals and contributed four articles to academic books.
Her research interests focus on employment programs and financial management. She continues to explore ways to improve economic development and policy effectiveness through her work.
