Biography
Catherin, was appointed as Lecturer in Zoology through direct recruitment by the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) in the year 2018 at D.K Government College for Women(A), Nellore and got transferred to this college on 24.09.2021. Before her appointment into the Collegiate Education, she worked as PGT in Zoology in AP Model School, Karempudi, Guntur district for five years from 2013-2018.
She is a dedicated and experienced Lecturer in Zoology with a passion for academic excellence and student development, seeking to contribute expertise in curriculum development, academic coordination, and extracurricular engagement to a progressive educational institution.
She had assisted in various academic activities including GB meetings, Academic Council meetings as Assistant Academic Co-ordinator in the previously worked institution and as an Alumni Committee convener facilitated the registration of the Alumni Association of D.K Government College for Women(A), Nellore. She had established a Memorandum of Understanding Between D.K Government College for Women(A), and Niha Textiles and Handicrafts, Nellore in training students on Jute bag making.
She had actively participated in the generation of Question Bank and in the CCE LMS work allotted by the office of CCE, AP and has authored a chapter in the book on Skill Development Course in Dairy Technology.
Presently she is involved in various college activities including criterion 2 work as a member, as an assistant academic co-ordinator and also as a member in various college level committees.
